Sold out tears!
As the dust settles in the golden sunshine of our beloved South-Africa. I bow and salute the heroes that paid the ultimate price, to nurture the land of freedom.I suppose it was intended to make all live in happiness and harmony. Well twenty years on, I'm sure thei're crying in their graves appalled by the course of our country. As in their struggle , they fought as if it's always gonna last and as if the result will bring us all closer to the proverbial "Heaven on earth".Well if this is that "heaven" we live in today, than I'd never want to get close to hell. Our politics are more corrupt than that first world countries, our people endure more atrocious economical conditions than, countries in the poorest parts of Africa. The people we so excitingly and hopefully voted into power, are now using us as pawns, on their way to building dynasties for the families. Forgotten are the pain and blood, that carved the paths of unity. We become more devised daily, all in our quest for wealth, because suddenly we believe we immortal, hence we need to accumulate all the wealth we can devour, sometimes at the expense of the poor and normal South - Africans. Have the powers that be suddenly forgot that not too long ago they were also, living from pay cheque to pay cheque, queuing in lines to get loans, just to put food on the table.? Now they use fancy names like; Micro economics, Moving left or volition exchange Rate, to inflate food - prices and making impossible for the poor(or their fancy words"overindebted".We the working class are hoping everyday on a better day tomorrow,in the process setting us up for failure and dissappear mentioned. O! Why my beloved Politicians are you selling us, the helpless and poor working - class out to the unscrupulous and vindictive:Capitalism? My tears have gone from hope and bravery in the apartheid - era, to despondency and hopelessness today. We can only bend our knees and pray with sincerity, that God The Almighty will save us this time from this predicament.

Forgotten memories!
That Sunday in February 1992 ehen late President Nelson Mandela, was released, is still vivid in my memories. Irecalla certain symbolic feeling of ffreedom amongst the majotity and perhaps becoming of sanity, to a minority. Theruling regime finall stopped pinching themselves. The rrealisation that, the natural order be restored, came more as a relieve to them, then the opposed.Im sure ghey spend days and even nights on end, tryi g to figure out how to suppress the vulnerable freedom seekers, for the years to come, with the impending hate that accumulated, over the decades. Even scarier more, was the fact that a more intelectually culture were cultivated, by the exiles, getting quality education abroad and with it bringing back more skills than their aging incumbents. Its one thing to suppress the uneducated mass, but impossible to deny intelectually creativeness to vanish, and its immortal. They could face amillion soldiers from the freedom fighters, but Iit was impossible to fight a thousand, intellects with, world classdegrees and hounours behind their name.We as children just wanted to run around and eenjoyed our little freedom of running unsupervised on a Sunday afternoon and being able to maximise our mischief, while our parents, celebrated their and our freedom for the first time. Not grasping the significance of the occasion, we were inattentive and casual about all that happened oround us.We took different memories from that day, Its years later that I finall am able to shed a tear, when realising just how that day, changed the landscape of our county and indeed the world forever. For in a day, roles were reversed with one man's release. Suddenly the villains assumed the role of heroes and degraded their persecutors not to the in humane suffering they endured but to, companions and compatriots of a country, given by God for all to share. So back than the late Brenda Fassie'S"My black president reverberated for daysIin our mind, today, I interconnect, the speech of the greatest freedom fighter, that didn't live to taste a day of freedom he dedicated his life for;Dr Marthin Luther King, saying in his world renowned speech "I have dream"?.......I dream of freedom. So many wonderfull memories on a journey we paid so deer for, forgotten, through thepprivilege it brought.Likewise we too often

BITTER PAIN THE FUEL,THAT DRIVES THE VEHILCLE CALLED LIFE!
LIFE IS A MYSTERY WE NEVER NEVER TRULY UNRAVEL.SO MANY PATHS AND LAND TO EXLORE.IS THERE EVEN A DESTINATION TO THE JOURNEY,THAT WE INVEST OUR LIFE'S IN?IVE OFTEN WONDERED WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER TO PURSUE A SEEMINGLY HOPELESS CAUSE;WHICH IS TO FIND HAPPINESS OR AVIOD ITS PAIN AND HEARTACHE?NEVER HAS IT HURT ME MORE THAN CURRENTLY IN MY LIFE.THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE HAPPIEST TIME OF MY LIFE,WHEN DECIDE TO WALK DOWN LIFE'S AISLE,WITH THE WOMAN I LOVE,TO OUR ETERNITY.HOW LIFE MAKES UP ITS OWN RULES,WITH TOTAL DISREGARD AND CONTEMPT FOR THE STATUS QUA.INSTEAD IT BRINGS FOR ACHES AND TEARS TO RPLACE THE FLOWERS.DO YOU SIMPLY OBLIGED AND WAVE THE WHITE FLAG AND SURRENDER OR DO YOU STAY AND FIGHT FOR THE EXISTENCE AND SURVIVAL OF LOVE AND HAPPINESS?MY SOUL ARE CRYING OUT INVANE FOR HELP FROM THOSE THAT STOOD BY MY SIDE THROUGH MY HAPPIER DAYS,FAILING TO HEED MY CALL OF DISTRESS.THOUGH I KNOW MY MAKER IS ALWAYS BY MY SIDE,I ERR ON THE HUMAN FALLACY,OF ALWAYS BELIEVING MORE IN WHAT WE CAN SEE.MY HEART MAYBE BROKEN RIGHT NOW WITH NO-ONE TO TALK TO,BUT MY SPIRIT IS UNWAVERING IN ITS PURSUE TO FIND TRUE HAPPINESS.THIS LIFE HAS BECOME,A LIFE OF AFFIRMATION.WHERE WE WOULD SELL OUR SOULS AND BEGRUDGE OUR BELIEVES,TO IDOLIZE AND TAKE TO PROPAGANDA.MY SOUL IS WEEPING,BUT IT WONT BE IN VANE.

Showers of blessings in a bitter society.
So as the heavens open above,i stare in aur and wonder if this is Gods tears or blessings that befall us?Our rainbow nation South-Africa has failed the most vulnerable so dismally lately. The ones God entrusted with the power to change the lifes of all,has acted so shamefully and inapropiate to be polite.Has humanity lost all sense of consciosnious?Have our hearts become like Pharoas'?Our children and woman are being hurt in unimaginable ways.We step on each other on our way to endeavour our empire of wealth. We are so busy getting ahead that we are oblivious to apperant heart-ache and destruction we leave behind.People are dying of hunger in a country that portray economic freedom and social wealth globally.I stare at the rain as it sweeps all in its wake.Dams are overflowing and rivers are streaming jolly along. The trees are glowing and our farmers are elated over consequence of the showers from above. It is after all the middle of the rain- season in our country and while the affluent will rejioce over the eminent growth the rain will bring and the big harvest they will have this season, the very poor that work that crop will, hope they'll survive.Houses build to just survive no propper protection against the elements.Yet we continue as if we live only for ouirselves. We percieve the showers of blessings(rain) as only another way to complement our wealth.

Long journey to eternal faith.
So 34 years ago my journey to faith started.I've lived my life always, well aware of my faith and power from above.I'll be the first to admit that I've made some horrible choices in my life and always claimed to have faith. Now more than three decades,i wonder did i really have?So many obstacles in my life i had to encounter, all happening to lead me to me my inevitable journey and destiny with faith.Just how hard is the true transition? You constantly believe and you are never out of touch with the Lord, yet its always harder when you being tested. How vulnerable are us humans when we faced with an immediate threat, that we have prayed for days on end?Faith is perhaps the easiest to find but the hardest to hold on to.Adversity can break a man to piont where his spirit just wonders of to the mountain of despair and seek comfort in the arms of despondency-to be a man comes with so much responsibility and accountancy, that it'll be impossible to make it without faith. So i decided to prayer very hard to get my faith back that I've left behind who knows how long back. The Lord said he who believes shall achieve. Why i opted to put my faith in the hands of humans all this while,is beyond me.I mean the Lord created me and he planned my life, long before i met any man on earth. If all the mountains around should tumble i'll hold on to my faith and know it's the Lord's will.No shadow will be dark for my restless soul.Strange how age seem to make us this wise persons, when we're actually, just people who made alot of mistakes,to gain a bit of knowledge. Some are afforded the oppertunity to rectify and testify about them, while others have to pay the ultimate price...death.So even when it seems to be overwhelming and my spirit has seemingly abandoned me,i seek without ending to find and hold on to my faith.

Aint no sunshine when its dark
So as the darkness came to over-shadow my life.I stumbled and fall.Didnt know what to do.Didnt know how to stand up.Every where i looked i couldnt see anything. My pain became unbearable,as i searched for some sort of consolation. All the world's knowledge brought me no closer to a solution. Why must we as people endure such pain i asked. The answer overwhelmingly clear and unambiguous;we bring most of it over ourselves, but even than the greater plan of our creator are at work.We tend to become self-preserving,thinking we can live this life without God.We believe we are immortal.I will not surrender to the pain and humiliation i have to endure, but will rather indulge in what God has instore.

THE BLEEDING WOUND OF A HEALING NATION.
So as my country, divided and divers-ed as it is stare down the face of another election,i ponder on all the improvements in our life's since, democracy. We still have our freedom paid for so deerly well protected.Do we really have freedom the way our ancestors and comrades intended for us?A new struggle has begun in this beautifully decorated county of ours. POWER and WEALTH is the game an elite group plays,at the poors expense.Every political party preaches a gospell of prosperity but are we suddenly gonna see the disappearance of shacks and homeless people. Are we gonna create jobs for half the unemployed? We don't really expect either of them to do it now, just to be honest with us,we've had enough lies.

NEVER AND NEVER AGAIN!!!!
So ass our country and indeed the world at large, battle to comes to grip,to saying goodbuye to our beloved,Tata Madiba. We have all remnisce back on the life of this remarkable man.We collectively said our prayers, for God to welcome him into His Kingdom,no dought when we heard the news.Indeed it is now time for us to stand on our own feet.No more do we have the luxury of a "father",willing to guide our misdirectioins. He left an endless legacy, that we ourselves need to complete.I have heard many wonderfull speeches by the great man.To me the one that towers above the rest,is his speech at his inaugaration."NEVER,NEVER AND NEVER AGAIN........"

When the mountain grows
So as we battle to survive in this rainbow missing some colours,we look to conquer the mountain within us all.So much has been achieved in our short democratic existence. We have achieved much more than the world anticipated. After all the pain of the past we thought it will be imposible to see our nation rise and be happy. That being said we still fight the everpresent battle,of poverty and unequel distribution of wealth.Still we live in a country where the imbalances created by the past,is dictating the future of the majority.Too few opportunities were created to,call us equel citizens of this country. Our education system is in such tatters and the gap between, public and private-school is growing. The inequality will only ever be adressed,if we imorove the level of public education to the same level of private schools.Make sure every child that finish school, goes to a tertiary institution and get a good education,to contribute meaningfully and informed to the countries growth and financial sustainibilty. We need to shift away from investing in all but education.Goverment must make full bursaries available for all pupils,to ensure all that starts grade 1 finish it if still alive. We need to create our own engineers and keep them in our country. That means that they will be tax payers, rather then social grants

As 2013 lies in wake,so is our challenges luring frim a distance.Im possitive and optimistic for both myself and our country. The critics heraled, the ruling party's conference in Maugaung,Amargedon.Well we are still standing as a country. I believe it was an example to the world of our rescillience as a nation. When the odds are stack against us we are flawless in our excecution.

Mountain of despair is not invincible
We've all faced daunting tasks in our lifes. There were moments we just wanted to give up.When every wall we break down is replaced by a gigantic shield of iron.Should we then cut our losses and move on?Well if the word failure exists in your vocabulary, then probaly should.I must confess,i have a very limited vocabulary. It only comprise of the words;perseverance, persistence and success. So i miight not always be succesfull but atleast i' ll never say i regret not trying. At the moment we are trying to esteblish a rugby club in our community, but it proves to be quite a task.I've never had so many red-tape and administration in my life. All we want to do is let the youngsters do what they love best;which is playing the beautifull game of rugby union.Sure not all of them will go on to become Springboks, but if only the beatifull birds was allowed to fly,it would'f been an emty sky, wuold'nt it!We just want to lift their spirits by doing something possitive for themselves and their community. They should'nt be deprived of that opportunity because of red-tape and politics, and i for one will not retreat or surrender,i owe them joy of putting the pride back in in our community, plauged by ;crime,poverty,subtance-abuse and unemployment. We'll be relentless in our persue of happiness.

almost their
As a new week lie in wakening. It brings with it more uncertainties and many happy moments hopefully.I reflect on a month gone by,in wich we all exected so much more.I for starters hoped for warmer weather than, the floods and cold, and hail-storms wev'e been experiencing lately. The seasons can be a real test of charachter.Like life we are more often than not supprised by what we get along the way.Iv'e lately come to reallise, that one at the age of 30 years and older, tend to think more about, the future your kids will have if you pass on.No im planning on drawing up a bucket-list,just yet.I just need to know my family will be well taken care of when i go into "that good night".It leaves me with cold sweat thinking i wont be around,to see all of them happy and taken care of forever, for that i'll have to live to be a 100.Suddenly i've learned to appreciate life so much more,i've reallised that, nothing in life last forever and no -one is immortal, even we live like it most of the time. Our country is still the rainbow it was intended to be,sure we've hit a bad patch enroute that dream,of living in a peacefull country for all, with no poverty and crime, but we're pretty damn close. If everything is temporary,as has been proved,in the past lifetime, than this bad, that has pleagued our democracy is bound to end very soon.

LIFES SUMMERS
Living is always better when its summer, isn't it?I just love the beautifull sunshine and cool evening breezes. So i always feel that, that warmth is transpiring, through to our lives cause we are always happier in summer. It takes me back to my first summer love.We would spend days on end just talking and starring at one another. She'd be the first one think about in the mornings.Isn't it just wonderfull how summer romances never last?Well two decades on and im bracing myself to give to give advice to my teenage boy on romance.Romance is to me the fuel that keeps the vehicle called "Life'running and heartbreak is the compasse that gives it direction.I remember a time when i thought is this thing called love not just an elution as so often eluted to.Does there always have to be a reason why get hurt and hurt people in return.Just as decided to settle down and be with someone that felt right but i didn't love came my angel send from above.Than all made sense had i not go through all the pain and heart-ache,i'd never have found what i was looking for.So even in the darkerst of days,i keep faith that this is preparing me for my ultimate happyness which is always closer than it seems.

life is good even when bad
So its been a tough week personally. So much to cope with and just no time to scrutinize every situation.I reached a stage where i just wanted to quit. Then i thought of all the comrades that fought for our freedom, that we can not surrender to life's curveballs, but persue the challenges with dignity.I prayed and found renewed spiritual energy. For when times are tough where else will we find strenght to continue? Why did i wanne give up?Well just thought about the state of our country and the prospects of a better country in the very forseeable future.I contemplated where im heading personally, what are my career ambitions, and how much have i achieved so far(if anything). The thuoghts of my child's education parilysed my thuoghts completely, where will i get the money to send him to world class university for a better life.I thought am i living the rainbow dream-dream Tata Madiba sacrificed his life for?Why are we so taking our freedom for granted, how come we just give up when the going gets tough, but surrender so esy to impediments? Then GOD made me see that he has a plan for all of us,all we need to do is not give up and keep at it,He'll do the rest.

warmer days or not
As a new mont and indeed new season grows upon us,we are hopefull that this will be the season of sunshine. That idea was put to bed fast by the petrol-price increasing, the continious strike in the mining sector, the latest unemployment figures(increasing),our president spending 200-million on his house in Qanda, all being said the rainbow of hope is still parading in our hearts. What is happening in our labour force! All of a sudden employers are awstruck by all the sudden strikes even though it is striking season.Workers just cant cope with the escalating food prices and constant fuel-hikes.Yet it profits no one when the countries economy is brought to its knees by non-production.Why play hardball when everyone is losing on the long term? Can't everyone take a leave from our sporting heroes;the proteas only strike(choke)at big tournements and only for that period not longer, while bafana would love to strike but cant.Even our beleagered Mr Juluis "cant die" Malema are feeling the heat of this new season,he is standing trail atlast for money-laundering.Even with all happening our beatifull country is shining on.

CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS IN MZANZI,THROUGH MY EYS.
As the leaves begins to turn, signalling the end of a season and the beginning of another,so is the political landscape in our country.Look i hate politics because of all the pretence and underhand alliances, behind the scenes.Though i do reallise active involvement is the only way i can try and influence the direction they lead my future.Still i believe despite all that's wrong alot is going or us as a country. We can still worship any religion or culture without fear of prosecution. Our political affiliation doesn't descimate us from the majority of society. We can differ with one another and still cheer on Bafana Bafana with equel passion. When tata Madiba gets sick,we all cry and pray together for his recovery. Our politics in principle has a policy of daiologue and debate, which is almost un- heard of in Africa and most parts of the world.Yes i would love to see all of our lives improving and all of sharing in the vision of economic freedom, which former A.N.C-Youth league President,Mr Juluis Malema keeps heralding about, but im prepared to wait and continue to hold the powers that be responsible, trough my vote and participating in council-meetings.Wouldn't wanne live any where else in the world.

democracy under siege
A new era has dawn in 1990 when Nelson Mandela was released. We subsequently had our first democratic in 1994.Well today 18-years on that hard-fougt democracy, paid for with blood is bieng, trheathened by greed and personal ambition.I danced back then at the prospect of a prosperuos South-Africa.Today after years of hope i've given up and can just watch as my vote, wich was paid for with blood and sweat is being trampled upon. Why my goverment do you hurt me so much?I am now joke to those i preached to about how my goverment will lead us to the" promise land'.Why all the in-fights when the ruling party belongs not to anyone,it belongs to the masses ,which includes all races and creeds.Isn't it time become the goverment(party) that gave us hope when the odds were stack against us?When blood ran through the streets of our country, when mothers had to sacrifice their sons and daughters for the cause!Lets forget about who did what to whom and why, please give us jobs, build us homes please, give our children better education and ultimately a better future as entrenched in our constitution.Dont let all the blood and pain have been for nothing.
